Miami's heat and humidity create ideal conditions for dog skin problems — hot spots, yeast infections, bacterial dermatitis, and fungal growth all thrive in South Florida's climate. A medicated bath uses therapeutic shampoo formulated to address these conditions at the skin level.

Our medicated bath service uses:

• Antifungal/antibacterial shampoos: For yeast and bacterial skin infections
• Chlorhexidine shampoo: For hot spots and bacterial dermatitis
• Sulfur or salicylic acid formulas: For seborrhea and flaky skin
• Oatmeal and hydrocortisone: For allergic reactions and itching

The shampoo is left on the coat for 5-10 minutes to penetrate the skin before rinsing. This contact time is critical for effectiveness and often skipped in standard baths.
